If you’ve landed here, it’s likely because of the ushering and beckoning whispers of the spirit of Ka’Kao.
She is called by many names; as Tsuru by people of the Bri Bri tribe in Costa Rica, as IxCacao in the Mayan legends, as well as many others throughout the ancient and indigenous worlds. Many people who know of her simply relate to her has Mama Cacao, a personality of abundant fertility, heart expansion, loving truth, purification, creativity, and wisdom.
Cacao has been revered as sacred in many cultures across Mesoamerica, throughout the ancient world until now. While you can still find, learn about, and experience cacao with indigenous communities, today she has been making her way into modern ‘western’ communities as a plant and spirit who can work with individuals and communities in a gentle but very potent, medicinal way.

What you can expect
In a cacao ceremony I will share more about the history and the medicinal qualities of cacao, both in the physical and spiritual-emotional realms of wellness that can be personal, relationship, or creative activity.
We will connect beforehand for you to share your intentions for having a cacao ceremony, and so we can co-create a space and flow that is supportive for where you are at. A cacao ceremony with me will always include time for opening up to the expansion of intuitive knowing that happens with cacao, and may include other combinations of music, meditation, movement or other forms of creativity and expression that are in accordance with your personal, couple, or group’s journey.
Each experience is incredibly unique.
Average sessions are 60-90 minutes.
Deeper Healing Immersions are available upon request, and last for 3.5 hours.
Sessions can be booked for 1:1, couples, or groups.
Typically Cacao Ceremonies are in-person, and Online Cacao Immersions and Mentorship is available upon application.
In-person Cacao Ceremonies can combine in a powerful synergy with Sound Bath, Clarity Breathwork, or both.
Here are some recommendations to consider before a Cacao Ceremony in Manuel Antonio, or online
- Avoid eating a heavy meal at least two hours before the session.
- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
- Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs for at least 24 hours before the session.
- Arrive on time to allow yourself to settle in and prepare mentally and emotionally.
- Avoid wearing strong perfumes or scents, as this can affect others in the session.
- If you have any medical concerns or conditions, please inform the facilitator beforehand.
These recommendations are designed to ensure that you are comfortable and prepared for the session and to help maximize the benefits of the Cacao Ceremony.
