When mankind gets out of harmony with the natural world, cacao will come out of the rainforest to open hearts and reestablish the balance.

– Ancient Mesoamerican Myth

Enter into the mystery of the heart, with Cacao

If you’ve landed here, it’s likely because of the ushering and beckoning whispers of the spirit of Ka’Kao.

She is called by many names; as Tsuru by people of the Bri Bri tribe in Costa Rica, as IxCacao in the Mayan legends, as well as many others throughout the ancient and indigenous worlds. Many people who know of her simply relate to her has Mama Cacao, a personality of abundant fertility, heart expansion, loving truth, purification, creativity, and wisdom.

Cacao has been revered as sacred in many cultures across Mesoamerica, throughout the ancient world until now. While you can still find, learn about, and experience cacao with indigenous communities, today she has been making her way into modern ‘western’ communities as a plant and spirit who can work with individuals and communities in a gentle but very potent, medicinal way.

“Ceremonial cacao expands your ability to connect with whatever you want to connect with.”

Keith Wilson, “The Chocolate Shaman

Cacao refers to the Theobroma cacao tree, and the raw, unrefined bean that comes from the fruit of the tree.

Cacao is unsweetened and minimally processed, and comes in the form of nibs, paste, and powder.

“Drinking a cup of cacao is an offering to the heart of humanity.”

“Cacao isn’t a thing, it is a multidimensional spirit energy whose physical manifestation is through the cacao plant. Spirit works with anyone, anywhere and cannot be told what it can or can’t.”

Keith Wilson, “The Cacao Shaman”

What you can expect

In a cacao ceremony I will share more about the history and the medicinal qualities of cacao, both in the physical and spiritual-emotional realms of wellness that can be personal, relationship, or creative activity.

We will connect beforehand for you to share your intentions for having a cacao ceremony, and so we can co-create a space and flow that is supportive for where you are at.  A cacao ceremony with me will always include time for opening up to the expansion of intuitive knowing that happens with cacao, and may include other combinations of music, meditation, movement or other forms of creativity and expression that are in accordance with your personal, couple, or group’s journey.

Each experience is incredibly unique.

Average sessions are 60-90 minutes.
Deeper Healing Immersions are available upon request, and last for 3.5 hours.

Sessions can be booked for 1:1, couples, or groups.

Typically Cacao Ceremonies are in-person, and Online Cacao Immersions and Mentorship is available upon application.

In-person Cacao Ceremonies can combine in a powerful synergy with Sound Bath, Clarity Breathwork, or both.
